Maa Baglamukhi is one of the ten Mahavidyas and is known as the Goddess of Stambhan Shakti (power to control negativity). According to scriptures, she protects her devotees from enemies, negative influences, fear, and obstacles.
 
The word “Bagla” refers to the tongue, and “Mukhi” refers to the face, symbolizing the goddess’s power to silence harmful speech and negative intentions.
